Instagram Festival posters
During the 6 weeks of Okusi internship, i have created 3 posters for the events in January and February, the posters are all in Blue and same font Kabel as the company request, and i have used silver and gold textures to enrich the posters. the first one is Chinese new year poster which i have advantage as i'm Chinese i know the culture background and the what we need for celebration.
the other two are Muslim festival and Bali festival i had hard time in research and design. but i'm happy with the result.
i have also evaluate their social media followers and posts and analysis and suggest to attract to more users/clients.
Friend in Me Animation
This is the animation i made with another animation student for the 10 weeks internship.
Katherine is my work partner made the sketches and characters by use photoshop, and i did the evaluation of the Firend in Me market and the target client, generated the timeline, script and pitch power point, and after she done with the animation i also in charge of post production, music design and background pixels by use after effect and audition.
AR Face filter
the face filter used for Spark AR player, the video provide is an example with the face filters i designed, involves with 6 different filters and every time he turn left or right. nodded or yawn that triggers the filter switches.
the idea was about the Chinese traditional opera call Lian Pu 脸谱，the actors change different mask every time he use his sleeve sweep over his face.
the face filter was generated by photoshop with the patterns i drawn by procreate with the 8 elements of nature (Ground, Thunder, Water, Fire, Lake, Sun, Wind, Mountain )
Stage Lighting Design-
Capitol Theatre
This is my favourite project, that also set up my mind i want to pursue my career with this field lighting design and projection mapping, that was my first time get to know about the lighting design and how the software works.
Unfortunately we were not able to be there in person because of the pandemic, so the project was complete with us not seeing the design in person, only the professors go to the site and video record the performance, and we have up to 4 times to make adjustments.
the outcome is great and it made me realise how a single light bulb can do for a whole scene, also i have worked with my team partner on sound design, i really want to put in some Chinese instruments which i was influenced by 2008 Beijing olympic, the Chinese drums are suitable for all big stage that helps to present the exhilarating sensory.
Yarra Trash Monsters
on this project we went to the Yarra beach to find some
trash, and scan them individually. and remix them by using after effect.
it was a surprise to see how these rubbishes end up with eyes, ears and mouth. the intention of this project was good and educated, that was our first assignment just to get to know AR filters, and face masks. the excursion on the beach was fun and we picked up unexpected amount of rubbishes, and the process of scan the rubbish and put them together gives me a lot creation ideas and amazed by how after effect can do.
